Serious game for lean layout planning: a proposal for involving company staff within the design process

Planning the layout of a company directly affects performance production system. To generate an effective solution, it is fundamental to involve both design experts and staff at all stages process. This paper presents novel lean planning system engage in research solution. A two-step process was followed: first, literature-based approach applied get prototype layout, then strategy company's achievement final solution proposed. The article describes proposed shows how changes with or without involvement skilled staff. case study leather bags manufacturing plant also presented. results highlight procedure can be helpful achieving that better satisfies workers makes employees accept working changes.
